Just 1.5 kms south of Saddleworth on the Barrier Highway, you will find a parking bay where you can enter the delightful Winkler Park and Cottage.
The park is maintained and developed by a small group of volunteers, with support from the Clare and Gilbert Valley
Take a break from your travels and make use of the facilities. You might enjoy a picnic lunch or tea stop in the shelter shed. It is situated beside an avenue of huge River Red Gums along the Gilbert River. Bring your camera.
Perhaps you’d like to stretch your legs by following one of the paths within the park or just sit quietly on one of the benches. Relax and revive while you listen to the sounds of local bird and creek life.
We hope you will enjoy our picturesque park as much as we do.
